Participating in this course provided insights into sustainable design innovation for real products and companies. The course focused on tools to create environmentally responsible designs that benefit customers, companies, and the world at large. Key topics included systems thinking, energy effectiveness, material choice, and biomimicry, among others. The course emphasized group work and utilized online collaboration tools for effective teamwork.

Working within a team of three, my team and I collaborated with Adventure Wagon to improve the design of their Mule Bag 2.0 to increase the product’s sustainability.
